Gabrille B. says about Jason’s Deli:

I absolutely love Jason’s Deli! I like it a lot better then jersey mikes or subway. I used to go to jersey mikes all the time but the club on the croissant bread is by far my favorite! Also, broccoli cheddar soup is also amazing! I’ll for sure keep coming back! I think the prices and definitely worth the food!

I don’t know why this place doesn’t have 5 stars! My review is based solely on 2 visits…once for breakfast and once for a late night meal. I will say that they crowd was very different from breakfast to late night and the customer service in the morning was a lot better. But, there were sooooo many people trying to get in there for a late night meal compared to breakfast. For breakfast….Please please try the shrimp and grits and also the chicken wings. Nothing more to say….shrimp and grits and wings. Their breakfast was amazing and the servers are super nice.

I was visit for business and staying at the Omni. I was a bit hesitant due to the yelp rating. But when we asked around, this was the recommendation given by multiple people. Definitely worth it.

Can’t say enough great things about the Suffolk Punch! Interestingly enough, I think it’s named after the Suffolk Punch English draft horse!  Get it, drafts?? (I’m not a horse girl, my mom told me that). I, for one, thought it was clever as hell.

Anyway, I stopped by here for lunch and beers on a Tuesday. They have a few parking spots out front, which were easily available, but if you’re headed there to brewery hop on a weekend I would uber! It was warm outside but we sat in a roomy booth indoors anyway, and their outdoor space was nice as well.

It looked like they had a patio with plastic draping and heaters for the colder weather with picnic tables and a gravel standing area they may split with the place next door.

Apparently they were reserved later on for a wedding reception! I arrived late and was hesitant to order food since my friends had already finished, but the server brought me a water and a menu straight away.

I thought about ordering the oily special of shrimp curry, but I decided I was more curious about their small plates and ended up ordering the Albondigas de Pollo, made of handmade chicken meatballs, chorizo, poblano puree, cilantro, and Manchego cheese.

I’m a Manchego girl through and through, so I couldn’t resist. Let me tell you- that **** was AMAZING. The food came out very fast! I was impressed.

The meatballs were perfectly crisped on the outside and moist on the inside. The poblano puree was cheesy and perfectly spiced, the peppers were bite-sized delights of freshness, and the chorizo bits were tasty but not overpowering.

That combined with my drinks was the perfect amount for a lunch outing- I felt perfectly full and felt like the dish was a great value. I also had been expecting a not-so-aesthetically pleasing plate, since it’s not like Suffolk is a tapas speciality restaurant, but it was plated so beautifully I felt bad eating it!!!! Suffolk’s cider selection isn’t the best in the area, but don’t fault them for it because they have a great number of options for sours and draft beers. I sampled the guava gose and had to order a pint- I highly recommend.

The berry cider they have is good, not great, but sours and beers made in-house are definitely their specialty. I honestly can’t wait to come back here again to eat more of their food, drink more of their alcohol, and figure out if their hanging plants are real or fake. Great service, great food, great drinks! 10/10 recommend.

Brandi H. about Al-Basha Turkish restaurants said:

This place is newer. I’m a Rico’s fan but they aren’t close to me. Decided to try them when I dropped my dog off next door to Banfield yesterday. This may be my new favorite 5 mins from the house and very good! I got the açaí bowl and added a honey drizzle and chia seeds. I went back today for the same thing very good

April H. about Turkish restaurants (Zeitouni Mediterranean Grill) in Charlotte Nc said:

So Zeitouni is one of my favorite places.  My husband and I get dinner here about once a week.  They make it so easy to order from their website so I just place the order when I am leaving work and it is ready for my pickup when I arrive.

I haven’t eaten in the restaurant yet but every interaction I’ve had with the employees when I pick my food up has been positive.  We have worked our way down the menu and although everything is good we have some favorites that we always seem to come back to.  Those are: gyros, potato harra, zataar, and shish tawooq.  You can’t go wrong with anything you order but you will be super happy with those items.

Tommy D. said about the best Turkish restaurants in Charlotte:

My wife and I decided to eat here our first night we were in Charlotte for our anniversary. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the the place was bright and clean. We were seated and promptly greeted by our sever who had a trainee shadowing him.

Both of them were pleasant and accommodating during our visit. The drinks came out first, followed by the appetizers (onion rings) we ordered and then the main meal.  I ordered the All American steak burger w/ fries and my wife ordered the chicken tenders.

The timing of the meal after the appetizer was the best I’ve ever seen and the food was hot and delicious. I would definitely go back and recommend this place.
