Didn’t expect it but, Casa Del Mar Seafood Restaurant & Bar was simply brilliant. Its the ambiance that wins me over here. All of the food items are great, their menu is awesome, I really like their Chicken Empanadas. The team is super pleasant too. We will be back ASAP.

Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood & Bar
Born in the South where a feast means getting messy with friends, the seafood boil has been bringing people together for ages. At Hook & Reel our signature boil forks over bold flavors with a genuine, down-home feel.
Diane H. says about Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood & Bar:
I had the most amazing meal including drink at Hook & Reel Parkchester. Sorry no photos, because I inhaled my food. We were greeted immediately and offered seating.
Our waitress Joely, was professional, attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu including alcoholic beverages.
We had catfish, sweet potato fries, crab bites, calamari, flounder and regular fries. Everything came out hot and delicious!! The food was well seasoned and not overly salty.
We will definitely be back and take pictures next time. Thanks Joely for your great service!!

Marilyn D. says about Marisco Centro:
Hello, I went there for my first time with my niece & her husband . They came to see me from Rochester, NY. My daughter & my granddaughter also went with us also. We had such a great time there. The food was so delicious but we like most was the old classic music that they played.
The atmosphere was good . We ate outside. The waiters were alsome. We enjoyed everything about this restaurant. We definitely are going back there again. We left very happy. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Loved it there.

Crab Island Cajun Seafood Express
Maryann S. says about Crab Island Cajun Seafood Express:
It was my husband’s birthday and also a Friday night….so he wanted Seafood. I researched the best seafood near us in the Riverdale area.
Well, I told him and our two guests that “Either this will be a dream come true dinner or a nightmare”. We ordered the seafood bowl with everything.
We chose the garlic butter and Island spice sauce. On the side dishes we order the garlic noodles, sausage fried rice and shrimp fried rice.EVERYTHING was absolutely FABULOUS!!! The mussels were as big as a “buick” and so tasty, succulent…wow! We feasted this wonderful food.

El Nuevo Tina
Wailana W. says about El Nuevo Tina:
Had to drop in on a cold morning into this unassuming restaurant on West 125th Street. Love the freshly made breakfasts serving hot coffee with automatically warmed milk, freshly toasted baguette bread and butter and a tres golpes with the tastiest mangu. If you haven’t had, you must try. It’s a stick to your bone kind of breakfast!
I stuck to 2 hits of Dominican salami with 2 over hard eggs (I hate runny eggs) and white rice while my bf prefers the traditional tres golpes with his eggs runny, fried cheese, mangu and fried salami. I also had the ginger and lemon tea which was so deliciously strong and could knock any congestion right out of you and warm up everything else.
We definitely will come back for the freshly made breakfasts and if lunch is anything like this amazing breakfast, I am definitely ordering the oxtail and pork chops.
The entire breakfast for 2 with the additional fresh avocado, toast and hot beverages was only $30! This is the Dominican version of Hawaiian plate lunches in our own neighborhood. How lucky for us to find this place and they’re on Seamless too!

Lucie T. says about Ruth’s Chris Steak House:
My first time at Ruth’s Chris steak house with my sister and friend. It was restaurant week we tried the pre-fixed menu for $59 with appetizers, entree and dessert. Th lobster bisque was okay, but cold. The steak and shrimp was delicious and tasty. I had two glasses of Chardonnay with my steak. My sister had the stuffed chicken breast, it was succulent, moist and delicious. For dessert I had the mini cheesecake, it was delicious.
Our waiter was attentive and prompt. Overall, it was an okay experience as the restaurant was congested as people were literally on top of of each other.

The Original Crab Shanty
The Original Crab Shanty building was not always a restaurant.
This building has a rich history that can be traced back to the turn of the century. In the early 1900’s this building, with its tall ceilings was a silent movie theater. Later in the early 1900’s the federal government took the building over and made it into the City Island Post Office, which served The City Island community for many years. Many residents of City Island still have many fond memories of the old post office.
John H. says about The Original Crab Shanty:
The Crab Shanty was definitely an important place in my life as a child. My grandfather insisted we come here for his birthday and Father’s Day. As a customer for many years it’s amazing to see the Crab Shanty always remembering a customer, top notch food and plenty of parking which is challenging on city island.
I think you get plenty of bang for your buck there with beautiful, nautical vibes. One of the best restaurants on City Island but pleaseeee make sure you make a reservation or come alittle earlier. In the summer time the Shanty is always very busy!
