I went there when Linda was the manager, and she ran this business well. She was great at customer service, took the time to get to know her clientele, and kept the place clean and tidy.
Angie is currently the manager now at colorbox and she is fantastic. She has done my nails before (photos attached), very creative and talented and my no-chip manicures always last more than 2 plus weeks.
I haven’t had the chance to go as frequently due to the pandemic, but in the past 8 months, I went 3 times to get my nails/toes prepped for my sister’s wedding.
Henry was my nail technician during the visits and hands down, my absolute favorite !
Not every technician at Colorbox can do nail art design as it takes talent, experience and a lot of patience and I try to request him every time.
He is a delight to work with; friendly and takes the time to listen to my nail art ideas and brainstorm with me, and keeps my nails and toes looking fresh.
I was blown away by his precision to tiny details for today’s mani as my nails were quite short after all ongoing breakage, but he managed to hand paint all tiny cute mushrooms, sparkles, smiley face etc with ease.
My “psychedelic groovy nails” from today make me so happy every time I look at them. It’s the little things like this that makes self-care so worth the time and money.

I’ve been looking for a new nail spot and I think this is it!
Wait time: I made an apt and had to wait about 20-30mins but didn’t have anywhere to be so I didn’t mind.
Dip Manicure: Got a dip manicure and they did a fantastic job. Friendly staff but I chose to watch Netflix on my phone so we didn’t chat much.
Colors: Plenty of color options for dip which I haven’t seen at some places in the city.
Application: The did a great dip application, nails look good even and were shaved down to look natural vs the application that can look chunky or very fake. They cut cuticles after the dip was applied (which is recommended!!) so that was awesome. Then a hand massage.
Price: $51+tip via Venmo.

Anytime anyone asks where I get my nails done, I always tell them to come here. No matter who does my nails they always do an amazing job.
They look beautiful and they LAST. I have never been able to grow my natural nails so long. This is the only place that keeps them healthy and looking great. I get so busy that I will let my dip or no chip manicure go for up to four weeks and no matter how grown out they get, the polish is still perfect.
