I love this store great selection of altar accessories. I brought all my stuff here on Saturday unfortunately one water cup has cracked, called the owner up. He was so pleasant and nice. No problem please come in and we will trade them for you. You don’t see this very often with Vietnamese store. I will definitely come back.

We hadn’t been to Japantown in San Jose before, but we regularly visit Japantown in San Francisco. Since we were going to be in San Jose anyway, we planned on walking through the neighborhood and I’m glad we did. It’s just a few blocks, from what we saw and most of the stores and restaurants were closed on Sunday, but stumbling across Petite Galleria made it worthwhile.
One of those nooks with barely more than a shadowbox-sized space, it reminded me of one – a tiny opening to a treasure trove of cuteness! Leeonnista was there to help show us items when we tried to point to the trinkets we were curious about and it was a bit comedic trying to direct her up and down, left and right – trying to communicate which particular item had caught our eyes, while dodging distractions.
All the pieces were made by local artists and we ended up picking out two sketches and three pairs of earrings.

Small yet super packed of religious paraphernalia gift shop. The owner is very friendly and last time I went was full of people, so don’t say religious don’t sell:) I actually was requested to buy several candles and little cards with virgins and Jesus. Speaking of Jesus, you will find him in all sizes, shapes and formats hanging in a wall very busy.
They seem to be of great quality. As per the virgin Marys, you get from the chic ones more expensive to the plasticky bad job paint Guadalupe ones. I liked a section where you can find more modern gifts, mini paints on wood with some inspirations quotes on them.
Store is adjacent to the cathedral, easy to come and go (walking, you should find parking somewhere, don’t expect to park there.
