Buffet or no buffet, Fairouz is still one of the best restaurants in San Diego. This is my opinion, but what do I know? I have been coming to eat here for over 35 years and the food is always delicious, if food and service were bad I would be going somewhere else.

I had the chicken tanging for lunch along with the eggplant appetizer and let me tell you how delicious the food was. Thank you for your great hospitality and wonderful food I will be back. If it was possible to give more than 5 stars then they would get them.

Friendly servers. Generous portions. The pineapple fried rice was good, easy to have the Jumbo shrimp put on the side in order  to share. Our party of four sat outside on a patio under a large umbrella. Thai ice tea, delicious.  We enjoyed our food.

I took my mom and my family to Pomegranate Restaurant on Mother’s Day. This is our first time trying out Russian-Georgian food and it was very delicious. We tried out Salad Sampler Platter, Adjaruli …Cheese-filled bread boat with egg, Borscht Soup,  Pelmeni
Meat dumplings, Pierogies (Potato-cheese dumplings with caramelized onions)
​Chicken Tabaka, Sashlik Chicken and Lamb, and the dessert for Honey Cake.

The service is also superb and I would strongly recommended if you like to try out something new.
