Jj P. said about Central Oklahoma Acupuncture:
Last week had treatment for hip/foot/ankle pain, anxiety. Miraculously the foot pain was gone next morning, ankle improved, anxiety gone, hip pain gone!
Karen has a peaceful, kind & uplifting spirit. And she has the best acupuncture skills I have received out if the 3 other practitioners Ive used over 20 years.
There is a comforting ambience in the clinic. Even though you are in a large area in a recliner with other patients, it is comforting & it doesn’t seem intrusive at all. There is nice soft music & low lighting so one could sleep.
Karen has very reasonable rates which I appreciate as a retiree. I can’t praise Karen enough for her skills, beautiful demeanor & her dedication to offering the highest quality treatments at an affordable rate to OKC patients.
I am returning for another treatment so I will update this review!

Acupuncture & Eastern Healing Arts
Julie S. commented for Acupuncture & Eastern Healing Arts:
Though I’ve just had my first appointment here, I thought it was so great, I wanted to review it. To me, the idea of taking a bunch of medicine to feel better seems silly, compared to a little bit of preventative care. Since my diet looks only slightly better than Guy Fieri’s, I thought that would be the best place to start. Just after the new year I booked a nutritional consultation with my friendly local Eastern Medicine Practitioner.
He really is friendly. I appreciated that he didn’t chastise me when I confessed my sins of food, drink, exercise (or lack thereof). He didn’t lecture me or scowl, or anything, (though I’m sure his inner monologue had to be tsk-tsk-tsking all the way.) He just asked me a lot of questions, first via a questionnaire, then in person. He looked at my tongue, took my pulse, and provided me with some basic pointers on better nutrition based on my specific issues.
I left with guidelines of some foods to cut back on. Some were no surprise, like the fried stuffs and the boozy things. Some were a surprise. Turns out raw vegetables and roughage are pretty hard on someone with my specific concerns. So something I’ve been trying to add more of is actually not a good call for me, at least not in big doses. Bonus, I’m to add more soups, and easily digestible grains such as noodles. I love noodles!
I was impressed by the fact that I left with nothing but a personalized directive on how to change my diet. I feared he might try and sell me twenty-two types of supplements, a juicer, and sign me up for my next ten appointments. It was honestly kind of the opposite. He didn’t recommend any herbs or supplements, and I had to ask him when he thought I should come back. His answer was even holistic: I’m to come back if and when I’ve taken his advice, changed up my diet, and am ready to take the next step towards a lifetime of health. Solid.
If you go: These offices are in executive suites, as this practitioner only has a small office. Just follow the address and suite number, and if there is no one at the desk when you arrive at the suite, don’t worry. He knows you have an appointment and will come out and greet you at the appointed time. When I arrived, it looked as though the receptionist had been beamed up, but not to worry, my appointment began right on time.

Harmony Healing Center

Adrianne C. commented for Harmony Healing Center:
Dr. Gumman and his staff are very caring, kind people who want you to feel your best. This was my very first experience with acupuncture but after several attempts to alleviate low back pain from a car accident with chiropractic care without complete relief, I was desperate to try a new method.
My first visit I was taken into a room and the process was described to me in detail. The doctor will place 20 needles on the front based on your needs, turn on meditation audio, leave the room for a bit, return, remove the needles, and you flip over to repeat the process. A bell is given to you when Dr. Gumman leaves the room in case you become uncomfortable – too cold, too hot, etc. If a needle is placed and it’s uncomfortable, the sensation will likely go away within a second, but if not tell the doctor and he will move it to an alternative place.
Your first session is $135 for consultation and acupuncture, and each following session is $80. Dr. Gumman will spend as much time talking to you as you need before each session. He wants to know how you feel and what’s going on in your life so he can provide the best treatment for you.
I am hopeful to find relief soon but see my visits to Dr. Gumman continuing for a while for overall health, but not as frequent after the car wreck wounds heal.

Tcm Health Center
Caitlyn S. said about Tcm Health Center:
I was skeptical, found Dr. Li through yelp and switched to the okc clinic as I was moving and it would end up being closer. A couple of my family members had had acupuncture performed and recommended it for my chronic neck pain. The whole experience was completely unexplainable. I felt my body turn to a more mush/liquid form while relaxing on the table one comparable to when you have a good full body massage.
There were a few more components I experienced that I don’t think I can express without sounding coo coo. So if you’re on the fence give it a shot. I’ll probably do anything Dr. Li asks me to as this experience was that positive. Thanks Dr. Li.

Angie L. said about Elledge Chiropractic & Acupuncture:
Dr. Elledge is extremely professional and good at what he does. After x-rays he was able to identify some things and make a plan for the areas that were a regular issue. I have been to other offices where x-rays are not done, which is a concern when it comes to preventing further injury or pain. Dr. Elledge is very knowledgeable and uses the right amount of pressure and technique for adjustments. His office staff is top notch and efficient. I recommend his office to family, friends and clients.

I got in a bad car accident. My neck was jack up. I followed the reviews and was so happy I did. I have found three amazing massage therapists , two great chiros and lovely front desk ladies. My neck is repaired after 6 weeks of pure therapy. Not bad and on the insurances dime too. Glad I didn’t listen to the insurance and go straight to the ER. This was way more effective.

Gabriel Fuentes received his Masters of Oriental Medicine from the Dallas College of Oriental Medicine in Dallas, Texas in 2004. While this time at school was very beneficial, he was disturbed by the immense disparity in medical literature and clinical education available to western students. Looking at the limits of his treatment options, the outcomes he saw were far less than what they could be.

Shayla R. said about Be Well Acupuncture:
I am new to acupuncture and surprised how quickly I became a believer! I am only half way through my facial rejuvenation treatment plan and I’m already seeing results. I’m definitely in a better mood after each session, my skin tone has improved, the texture of my face has improved, and the wrinkles in my face are starting to not look as deep, and my face seems tighter!
My friends even noticed a difference in my skin so if I’m only half way there, I can’t wait to see how I look when I’m done. Plus I feel good knowing I’m rebuilding real collagen in my face instead of injecting chemicals like fillers and botox.
Thank you Toni, you’re awesome!

The office is beautiful and has so many thoughtful touches to make it a relaxing experience. The rooms are decorated in soothing tones, and the treatment beds have real linens.
