Pregnant at 40. Chronic shoulder-pain healed.

I first went to Sherman several years ago for chronic shoulder pain due to a long thoracic nerve injury. I had suffered daily from shoulder pain, went through several rounds of physical therapy, and took pain meds, but nothing actually stopped the pain. After 8 sessions with Sherman, my pain was gone. Two years later, it rarely comes back. I’ll be sore for a day or two, and it’s gone again.

Then, after trying to get pregnant for 3 years, and going through very expensive and emotionally draining infertility treatment (IUIs and IVF–all of which failed), I went to Sherman, who helped me get pregnant in 3 weeks!!! I’m now 20 weeks with a healthy baby boy. He did what no western medicine can do. I had even gone to 2 other acupuncturists in the area to help with fertility and they couldn’t help me get pregnant either (they just forced me to buy $$$ herbs that made me sick and took my money!).

Sherman is very professional and has a scientific approach to acupuncture. He never made me any promises (unlike one acupuncturist who considers herself the “fertility expert” and has a terrible bedside manner, who took my money, made promises, and I never got pregnant). He told me I was “very lucky” at my age to get pregnant, but I don’t think it was all luck. After years of trying and all the medical intervention, he is the doctor who made the difference. I highly and without reservation recommend him!
