Paul S. said about Wellfit Acupuncture & Integrative Health:
Got acupuncture for the first time with Anna yesterday. I didn’t know what to expect but walking into the studio, I was immediately taken over by the relaxing atmosphere. Minimalist but inviting. Subdued but warm. Anna briefly conducted an overview with me to discuss my health concerns/goals and then explained concisely what she planned to do and why, so any doubts or worries I may have had were quickly dissipated.
Going into the acupuncture session, I was overcome with anxiety from the anticipation of the needles being inserted but Anna expertly placed them with little notice and whatever pressure I did feel could hardly register as painful in any way.
As to the experience and quality of the acupuncture session itself, I have no words. I would not consider myself to be a holistic person and as I said above, I didn’t have any expectations going into the appointment. So when the session was underway and the needles were fully inserted, the physical sensation I experienced throughout my body was beyond recognition. The only comparable experience that comes to mind is when you hear music that’s so compelling and moving it raises the hair on your arms, making your body tingle, but with acupuncture, couple this sensation with a layer of warmth flowing throughout your body.
I will definitely be coming back for more sessions and highly recommend acupuncture to anyone for any reason whether it be for stress relief, pain alleviation, etc. If you’re suffering in any way at all, GO SEE ANNA.

Dr. Song is magic. I was having trouble getting pregnant. I went to Dr. Song for acupuncture, and I was pregnant in the first full cycle after I started weekly treatments with her. She kept treating me through my first and then third trimesters. She was flexible and accommodating and I always felt relief from my symptoms immediately after a session with her. I also went back after I gave birth to get help with some injuries I sustained during delivery. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Song.

I’ve had chronic back pain for as long as I can remember. It was torture to even get up from my bed in the morning. I’ve tried physical therapy, chiropractors, medication, but nothing would work and things looked hopeless. One day however, I was recommended Tam Acupuncture and I shit you not, I felt like a new man. They provided the only treatment where I actually felt progress, and you can tell that they really care about my pain and my issues.

In treating his patients, Philip pulls from all of these experiences to provide a truly holistic and integrative style. He emphasizes a results-oriented approach and encourages his patients to take an active role in their health care. He regards each patient as a unique individual, using a wide range of diagnostic tools and treatment options to optimize results. These may include acupuncture, Chinese herbs, laboratory testing, Gua Sha (the scraping of the body using jade stones), moxibustion, cupping, Tui Na (an Asian form of massage), electro-acupuncture, as well as orthopedic testing, blood pressure monitoring, dietary and lifestyle modifications.
Philip opened North End Acupuncture in 2014 to provide an affordable and effective healthcare option to a neighborhood in need of alternative medicine choices. Johnston Family Acupuncture – Pain & Fertility Specialists
Acupuncture has been used for thousands of years to treat various medical conditions such as back and neck pain, stress, and infertility. Johnston Family Acupuncture offers traditional acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping therapy, and electroacupuncture in Boston, Massachusetts.
Acupuncture involves the insertion of very thin needles to various depths through the patient’s skin, at specific points on the body. Based on the concept that a vital energy called Qi (“chee”) travels along 14 main pathways, illness or pain occurs when this energy flow is blocked or weakened. Stimulating acupuncture points along the meridian restores the balance in the body, helping to relieve symptoms and promote wellness.
Robert D. said about Johnston Family Acupuncture – Pain & Fertility Specialists:
Had some significant sciatic discomfort and Courtney Peaslee provided total relief. I only wish I had gone to her sooner. I couldn’t recommend her enough.

Boston Acupuncture Center (Chinese) & Chinese Medicine
Acupuncture & Herb, General practice, infertility, IVF, chronic pain, allergy, asthma, cancer, skin diseases, anxiety, depression, insomnia, IBS, crown’s, children, hypertension, overweight, etc.
Anna C. said about Boston Acupuncture Center (Chinese) & Chinese Medicine:
When my husband and I started seeing Dr Zhang, we were in our early 40s. We had done 3 failed IVFs and our western doctors told us we had a 0% chance of having our own child, and that our only chance was to do a donor egg. We decided to go with acupuncture and started seeing Dr Zhang.
Dr Zhang is sometimes reticent and sometimes jolly. He is always supportive and optimistic. Six months after we began seeing Dr Zhang, we got pregnant naturally. Dr Zhang also helped to encourage labor, so our son was born at the birth center (no epidural, no pitocin — it was an all-natural birth). He is four now, and an incredibly healthy, happy, smart, strong little boy! He is the joy of our lives.

Nikki P. said about Middle Path Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Medicine, Inc. – Cambridge, Boston:
I have been seeing Lisa in 2020 for hair loss issues. Whoever tried her treatments would understand that most of what she does is almost impossible to put in words. She was beyond phenomenal. She took notes. She took time to understand me and my issues and the root causes. I would come to see her feeling A and would leave her office feeling B and completely zen. I would fall asleep almost every time during sessions. I would go in deep relaxation. My senses opened. My mind too. My hair started growing but not to a full strength. It may take some time to get there. However Lisa’s treatments are unique and tailored to your needs. I would highly recommend her.
